This distinctive natural chrysoberyl cat’s eye comes from Ceylon, also known as Sri Lanka. It has been cut and polished into an oval cabochon to display its luminous moving band of light, known as chatoyancy.

The gemstone presents a fresh yellow-green color with a clearly visible cat’s-eye effect that appears to move as the stone or lighting angle changes. It is an untreated, earth-sourced gemstone suited to a custom ring, pendant, promise ring, collector’s piece or bespoke jewelry design.
